Pharmacist - Hybrid (Community/ Specialty)

About the role

Responsible for managing the daily operations of a pharmacy department, ensuring workflow efficiency, clinical patient management, quality improvement, policy compliance, and regulatory adherence. The role involves overseeing pharmacy sales, expense control, inventory management, and maintaining a professional image through accurate prescription filling and exceptional customer service for patients, providers, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Customer Experience: Ensure courteous, friendly, and efficient service; respond to inquiries and complaints to enhance the department's image.
• Operations: Manage daily pharmacy activities, improve prescription volume and sales, ensure compliance with laws, maintain records, implement asset protection, oversee housekeeping and safety, control cash and store systems, and manage inventory and third-party billing issues.
• People & Performance: Supervise team members, ensure proper licensure and training, and promote good performance and adherence to policies.
• Training & Development: Self-assess performance, stay informed on industry developments, and incorporate new practices.
• Communication: Develop collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals and pharmacy staff.
