Pharmacist [Full Time & Part-time]

About the role

Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy is a 100% employee-owned, closed-door pharmacy serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health needs. Pharmacists work directly with nurses, prescribers and care teams without a retail counter or drive-thru, in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes clinical knowledge and relationship building. The position is available full‑time or part‑time in Omaha, NE.

Responsibilities

• Verify multidose medication packaging and MARs
• Provide consultations to nurses, prescribers and other healthcare providers
• Complete accurate pharmacy data entry
• Review medication therapies, interactions and clinical concerns
• Administer a variety of injections
• Participate in medication review committees as needed
• Work alongside pharmacists and technicians to keep medications accurate and on time

Requirements

• PharmD degree
• Active Nebraska pharmacist license, or ability to obtain before starting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
