Responsibilities
- Execute strategy and motivate staff as the pharmacist-on-duty
- Maximize contribution by managing daily tasks and supporting the team
- Empower staff to provide value and service through counseling and clinical services
- Build rapport with both customers and associates
- Maintain a flexible work-week schedule to meet customer needs
- Advance pharmacy clinical initiatives like Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and immunizations
- Manage team performance and ensure complex operational activities are met
- Use best practices to make sound business decisions
- Mentor others on Publix pharmacy best practices
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Graduate of a school of pharmacy
- Unrestricted, state pharmacist license
- No active suspensions, sanctions, or restrictions related to health insurance programs
- No unacceptable results on a company-sponsored drug test within the last three years
Preferred Qualifications
- Immunizing pharmacist meeting state requirements
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Numerical and financial aptitude
- Knowledge of retail merchandising and inventory control
