Responsibilities

• Execute strategy and motivate staff as the pharmacist-on-duty
• Maximize contribution by managing daily tasks and building rapport with both customers and associates
• Empower staff to provide value and service through counseling, building personalized relationships, and promoting customer loyalty
• Gain buy-in and empower the team to be accountable
• Manage team performance, ensuring prescriptions are processed promptly and efficiently
• Use best practices to make sound business decisions and cover complex operational activities
• Mentor others on Publix pharmacy best practices to enhance sales, minimize shrink, and meet customer needs
• Advance pharmacy clinical initiatives like Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and immunizations
• Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet customer needs
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• A graduate of a school of pharmacy
• An unrestricted, state pharmacist license
• No active suspensions, sanctions, or restrictions related to health insurance programs
• No unacceptable results on a company-sponsored drug test within the past three years

Preferred Qualifications

• Immunizing pharmacist meeting state requirements or scheduled to become an immunizer
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Numerical and financial aptitude
• Knowledge of retail merchandising and inventory control
