Responsibilities

• Execute strategy and motivate staff as the pharmacist-on-duty
• Maximize contribution by managing daily tasks and supporting the team
• Build rapport with both customers and associates, providing best-in-class pharmacy service
• Empower staff to provide value and service through counseling and clinical services
• Maintain a flexible work-week schedule to meet customer needs
• Manage team performance, ensuring prescriptions are processed efficiently
• Advocate for pharmacy clinical initiatives like Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and immunizations
• Mentor others on Publix pharmacy best practices
• Use pharmacy technology systems effectively for prescription processing
• Support pharmacy operations and assist with other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Graduate of a school of pharmacy
• Unrestricted, state pharmacist license
• No active suspensions, sanctions, or restrictions related to health insurance programs
• No unacceptable results on company-sponsored drug tests in the past three years

Preferred Qualifications

• Immunizing pharmacist meeting state requirements
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Numerical and financial aptitude
• Knowledge of retail merchandising and inventory control
