PHARMACIST (FT NIGHTS)

About the role

The role provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, patient counseling, and teaching. Responsibilities include filling medication orders, monitoring patient drug therapies, and providing drug information.

Responsibilities

• Fills orders for medications
• Maintains accurate records of medications administered
• Monitors patient drug therapies and reports any adverse effects
• Provides patient education on medication use and side effects
• Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective medication management
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives related to medication administration

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm)
• One (1) year experience in hospital setting preferred
• Current Pharmacist License in the State of Nevada
• Automation experience with knowledge of reporting features (i.e., optimization, load/unload, nursing narcotic access, etc.)
