As a Staff Pharmacist, you'll work in a closed-door long-term care pharmacy focused on clinical accuracy, collaboration, and ensuring timely medication delivery to the patients who need it most. Responsibilities

  • Processing new patient referral prescriptions, preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of medications
  • Work closely with Pharmacy Technicians in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Provide client care to include, but not limited to, patient follow-up, monitoring clinical laboratory data, working with physicians on dosing antibiotics, etc.
  • Perform accurately and efficiently when inputting information
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements
  • Assist with ensuring safety practices and procedures are adhered to and practiced
  • Enforce all company and departmental policies and procedures
  • Comply with all applicable state and federal regulations related to pharmacy practices
  • Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services; talks and acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect
  • Adhere to Remedi’s Code of Conduct, follow Remedi Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources, or the Compliance Officer

Requirements

  • PharmD or equivalent degree in Pharmacy; active state license in good standing
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed pharmacist in a healthcare setting
  • Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy experience preferred
  • Experience and knowledge base of intravenous admixtures services and intravenous therapy desired
  • Familiarity with Frameworks and DocuTrack systems strongly preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods during shifts
