Pharmacist - Community - Part Time
About the role
Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group's family of businesses, is seeking a part time Staff Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. As part of a coordinated care team, we partner with community-based providers and others to ensure that people with complex health conditions get the right medications and are able to follow their treatment plans. Our personalized services - in-clinic pharmacies, medication management and more - are leading the way to a new level of care.
Pharmacy is located within the following clinic: West River Mental Health: 308 Quincy Street, Suite 100, Rapid City, SD 57701
Schedule will be 24 hours a week within the Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Pharmacy schedule.
Responsibilities
- Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
- Provides information to customers about medications and their use
- Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
- Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
- Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
- Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Must be available to work 24 hours a week within the Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Pharmacy schedule
- Current pharmacist license in state of South Dakota
Pay
The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.00 to $79.00 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
