Part-time Staff Pharmacist - Community

This onsite position in Richmond, VA will be scheduled 32 hours per week and will float at least one day per week between our pharmacies located in Petersburg, Farmville, and Williamsburg. Pharmacy hours are Monday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm, Tuesday-Wednesday: 8:00am-8:00pm; no weekends or holidays.
Responsibilities
- Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
- Provides information to customers about medications and their use
- Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
- Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
- Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
- Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Current pharmacist license in state of Virginia
- Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire
- Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Qualifications
- Authorization to administer long-acting injectables or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire (preferred)
Pay
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. The hourly pay for this role will range from $44 - $79 per hour based on full-time employment.
