Pharmacist Clinical Specialist
Job Summary
As a Pharmacist Clinical Specialist, you will monitor clinical protocols and guidelines, enhance evidence-based medicine delivery, serve as the expert medication management team member, and provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy Practice Residency or Commensurate Board Certification
- Commensurate experience
- Postgraduate Year Two (PGY2) Specialized Residency in area of specialty - preferred
- Current Pharmacist license with Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP)
- Sterile Products (IV) Certification through the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) within 60 days of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) as per St. David’s Healthcare Policy
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as per St. David’s Healthcare Policy
- Pediatric Life Support (PALS) as per St. David’s Healthcare Policy
