This position interprets provider orders and prescriptions, compounds and dispenses medications within regulatory guidelines and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients and others as required regarding use of medications and potential drug interactions.
• Provide drug information to patients, health care workers, and others as necessary.
• Provide oversight and supervision of pharmacy technicians and other supporting staff including directing work flow and assurance of completion of duties.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise in area of practice.

Job Requirements

• 1 year hospital experience strongly preferred.
• PGY-1 or BCPS preferred.
• May be required to be on-call in certain situations.
• Bachelor’s Science or Pharm D required.
• Active Pharmacist license in the state you are practicing required.
• ACLS Preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary work—(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally).

Our state-of-the-art facility features a 48-bed inpatient unit, including six intermediate care beds and eight operating rooms. All members of our team from pre-operative care through recovery and our in-patient nurses are specialty trained in orthopedics. Our surgeons are renowned for their talent, knowledge, and experience in their orthopedic specialties and subspecialties. Pay Range

$58.83 - $94.20 /hour
