Pharmacist, Business Analyst IT - Remote
About the Role
Optum Insight is improving the flow of health data and information to create a more connected system. We remove friction and drive alignment between care providers and payers, and ultimately consumers. This position is responsible for building and maintaining Epic Medication (eRx) Records, working closely with operational partners to implement requested changes, identifying opportunities for workflow and application maintenance improvements, and representing the Epic Willow team in projects.
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain ERX/medication records in Epic
- Perform updates to medication data as clinical practices change
- Collaborate with operational pharmacy partners and across IT teams to support pharmacy-related Epic applications
- Support additional pharmacy applications such as Omnicell as needed
- Participate as an individual contributor within the pharmacy solutions team
- Provide non-prime call support
- Follow Change Management protocols including adhering to build standards, testing, quality assurance practices, and technical documentation requirements
- Lead Willow-driven projects and collaborate with operational subject matter experts and application team members
Requirements
- Licensed pharmacist (active license)
- 2+ years of experience as a pharmacist
- 1+ years of experience building/maintaining Epic Willow Applications (or 3–6 months of experience building/maintaining Epic Willow Applications)
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification/Proficiency in Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory (new hires without certification will be asked to complete it shortly after hire)
- 2+ years of experience using and/or maintaining Epic Willow applications
- Proficiency in Willow Inpatient or Ambulatory
Pay
The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.

Schedule
For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
