About the role

Responsibilities
- Meditation Dispensing: Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients.
- Patient Counseling: Provide thorough guidance on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
- Controlled Substances Management: Maintain precise records and responsibly manage controlled substances.
- Staff Training: Train and mentor pharmacy staff to uphold best practices.
- Collaborative Care: Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient care.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess.
- Insurance Processing: Efficiently handle insurance claims and reimbursements.
- Customer Service: Professionally address and resolve patient inquiries and concerns.
Requirements
- Required: Valid pharmacist license as per state regulations.
- Required: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations.
