Pharmacist
About the role
The Pharmacist at MultiCare ensures prompt and accurate pharmaceutical care services for patients, nurses, and physicians. This role offers the opportunity to apply knowledge and expertise towards supporting quality health services and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Dispense medications to patients and interpret IV admixture orders and prepare primary IV/solutions
- Maintain appropriate records for manufacturing nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations when required
- Supervise support personnel and assume responsibility for final checks of all completed work
- Assist in the inspection of all pharmaceutical supplies on all services
- Provide for the safe and accurate provision of pharmaceutical care services
Requirements
- Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred
- Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington
- Minimum one (1) year of pharmacy experience preferred in settings such as hospital, retail, clinic, or other
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Pay and Benefits
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. The pay scale for this position ranges from $75.89 to $101.98 USD. Factors influencing pay include skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will reflect the appropriate step on the pay scale based on years of experience.
