Responsibilities
- Working on the receiving dock matching all paperwork to the vendor invoice and creating variances if needed.
- Reconciling variances with Receiving/Purchasing and sending completed packages to Accounts Payable for payment.
- Checking all orders filled by the Warehouse for accuracy and obtaining a signature from the department placing the order.
- Handling all returns by departments.
- Responsible for taking weekly cycle count for inventories of all warehouse areas with either the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
- Researching any inventory variances and documenting written explanations while ensuring the warehouse person signing the final report.
- Documenting variances in writing and signed by Inventory Control & Management from that area.
- Inputting/assisting in monthly Kitchen counts of food inventory for all Monarch Casino Resort Spa Restaurants.
- Inputting/assisting in monthly Bar counts of Beer/Liquor/Wine for all Monarch Casino Resort Spa Bars.
- Maintaining/additional item numbers for Inventory stock.
- Managing & maintaining all master files in the SWS System for the entire company.
- Ensuring standard inventory procedures & practices are adhered to at the company level.
Qualifications
- Physical dexterity - taking physical inventories where you have to kneel down or be bent over for an extended period of time.
- Must be able to be on your feet for several hours taking inventory.
- Must be able to handle moving heavy items around while taking inventory or checking orders.
- Prefer at least 1 year of inventory control experience.
- Must know 10 key calculator by touch.
- Must be a self-starter, this position requires a self-motivator that can work with little to no supervision.
- Must be computer literate.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus.
- Knowledge of AS/400 computers a plus.
- Retail background preferred.
