Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities

• Oversight of day-to-day pharmacy operations and staff supervision
• Maintenance of accurate prescription records and management of third-party reimbursements
• Collaboration with prescribers, nurses, and hospital staff to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Overseeing mail order pharmacy processes and inventory management
• Monitoring pharmaceutical storage, distribution, and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Reviewing and approving inpatient and outpatient medication orders
• Supporting community engagement efforts to promote pharmacy services

Education, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (RPh) required
• Doctorate in pharmacy (Pharm.D) preferred

Experience, Training

• At least two (2) years experience preferred
• Experience in both inpatient and retail pharmacy preferred
• Knowledge of mail order processes preferred

Licenses, Certifications

• Licensed Pharmacist issued by the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy required
• Must maintain education credits for applicable certification requirements
