Pharmacist

About the role

This onsite role involves accurately processing and dispensing prescription medications in a specialty pharmacy setting. You will work in a structured, patient-focused environment providing pharmaceutical care, counseling patients, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective medication use.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process and dispense prescription medications in compliance with legal and safety standards
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and clarify with healthcare providers when needed
• Maintain proper records for prescriptions and controlled substances
• Utilize pharmacy systems and tools to support workflow and decision-making
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient outcomes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspace

Requirements

• Active Pharmacist License in Kentucky (required, must be in good standing)
• 0–2 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in retail, specialty or hospital pharmacy
• Familiarity with pharmacy systems
• Customer or patient-facing experience

Work Environment

Onsite specialty pharmacy with a structured, process-driven workflow. This role includes patient interaction, collaboration with healthcare providers, and use of pharmacy systems in a professional setting.

Shifts

Monday – Friday (Closed on Sundays)
1st shift (6am - 9am start)

• Location: Southgate, Kentucky (Onsite)
• BGV & Drug Test Required
• In-person interview (30–45 minutes, includes facility tour)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $124,800.00 - $135,000.00/yr.
