Pharmacist (RPH) – Long-Term Care Pharmacy Location: Morrisville, NC Shift Options Option 1: Monday–Friday, 5:30 PM – 2:00 AM, rotating every 4th weekend (10:00 AM – 6:30 PM) Option 2: 7 On / 7 Off Schedule (Wednesday night–Tuesday), with weekday night shifts and weekend daytime shifts About The Role We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist (RPH) to support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced long-term care environment. The Pharmacist will ensure accurate medication dispensing, regulatory compliance, staff oversight, and exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities Review and verify prescription orders for accuracy and completenessEnsure compliance with state, federal, DEA, HIPAA, and pharmacy regulationsSupervise pharmacy technicians and workflow operationsPerform clinical review for drug interactions, allergies, and therapy appropriatenessOversee medication dispensing, packaging, and labelingAssist with controlled substance inventory managementSupport sterile IV preparation and verificationParticipate in evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage as required Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institutionActive Pharmacist license in good standingStrong knowledge of drug interactions, allergies, and clinical pharmacy practicesExcellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skillsAbility to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
