About the role

The Pharma Scientific Recruiter will play a crucial role in supporting our growing operations in Indianapolis, IN, primarily focusing on sourcing and screening candidates with molecular biology and biochemistry backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Source and screen candidates for open roles, with an emphasis on molecular biology and biochemistry backgrounds.
• Schedule meetings with candidates and internal/external customers.
• Complete and send essential documents to the leadership team in a timely manner.
• Communicate consistently with candidates and the hiring team.
• Utilize social media and other sources to attract scientific candidates.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• BS in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field with 2+ years of experience recruiting all levels of scientists (BS through PhD).
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work well both independently and within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills, high learning agility, and the ability to work across functions.

Schedule

This is an onsite, day shift position (approximately 8 AM – 5 PM local time) at Cogent Scientific's corporate office in Indianapolis, IN.
