Key responsibilities
- Meticulously fact-check, reference, and annotate resources to ensure successful review cycles.
- Proofread all content for impeccable grammar, punctuation, and overall quality.
- Guarantee that all materials adhere strictly to guidelines for annotating and supporting references, crucial for Medical, Legal, and Regulatory review processes.
- Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently, consistently meeting deadlines.
- Stay current with all relevant industry guidelines and standards to maintain expertise.
Required skills & experience
- BA or BS degree in English or Communications.
- 3 to 5 years of editing experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical field or a studio/agency setting.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in annotating resources and comprehensive reference sourcing.
- Solid working knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and composition, with a focus on clarity and flow.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical promotions and product labels.
- Proficiency with electronic and online editing and review tools.
- Demonstrated experience with AMA Style.
- Experience with pharmaceutical content management and review platforms.
- Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and its commenting tools.
Compensation
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $80 -85K. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
