Job Responsibilities

  • Plans, develops, and conducts epidemiologic investigations, surveillance activities, and interventions to identify disease causes and implement effective control measures.
  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets statistical data and prepares comprehensive epidemiologic reports.
  • Provides training, technical assistance, and consultative services related to epidemiology and disease control.
  • Supports the implementation of timely disease intervention strategies to reduce the prevalence of communicable diseases by conducting investigations, performing data collection, analysis, interpretation, surveillance, and reporting activities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in public health or closely related field from an accredited college or university OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of experience performing epidemiologic work or work in a closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Public Health or a closely related field, along with relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in conducting public health surveillance, analyzing epidemiologic data, performing in-depth outbreak investigations, and reporting findings.
  • Experience implementing disease control measures and strategies.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
