PGM Intern/Assistant Golf Pro

About the role

Responsibilities

• Register golfers for the two golf courses (East & West)
• Spread hospitality and goodwill for members and guests
• Aid in golf tournaments for member and special events for hotel guests and groups
• Aid in junior golf programs including camps and PGA Junior League
• Avoid cleanliness of all golf operation areas
• Knowledgeable in golf club grip replacement/repair
• Aware and knowledgeable of all golf rules
• Play a respectable round of golf with members and/or guests when needed
• Complete Broadmoor Golf Training Course Curriculum
• Become proficient in all Golf Operations including budgets, tournament operations, staffing and scheduling and daily operations of the Broadmoor Golf Club
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One to two years related experience in the Golf Business
• Enrolled in a fully accredited Golf Management program
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
• Strong interpersonal communication skills

• Knowledgeable in golf club grip replacement/repair
