Responsibilities

  • Answering patients' inquiries related to bills or communication from their visit
  • Working closely with third parties to ensure proper handling of outsourced accounts

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of billing experience, preferably in a hospital setting
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Possess computer system knowledge
  • Knowledge of healthcare patient accounting and healthcare insurance coverage
  • Previous customer service experience preferably in a hospital or medical setting
  • Confidential and good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proper use of standard office equipment
