PFS Account Assistant

Supports Account Managers by handling delegated servicing tasks, managing routine client needs, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of policies and endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Assists Account Manager with servicing customer accounts including phone calls and walk-in customers.
• Completes insurance proposals and quotes for agents and producers.
• Issues binders, endorsements, cancellations/reinstatement notices, etc.
• Prepares and distributes certificates of insurance.
• Maintains accounts on agency management system.
• Processes insurance claims and loss notices.
• Assists Account Manager with renewals.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Assists with other job-related duties as assigned by manager.
• Communicates effectively in-person and otherwise with all coworkers and customers, both during regular business hours and before/after, if necessary.

Requirements

• Knowledge of insurance products and services.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Agency Software.
• Ability to communicate with customers and coworkers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ability to multi-task and function as a team player.
• Ability to work with accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate various office machines including switchboard, adding machine, copy machine, etc.
• Ability to cross-sell insurance products.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proper insurance licenses.

Pay

Hourly $17.00 - $20.00
