Petroleum Service Technician

Essential Functions

  • Troubleshoot and repair fueling systems.
  • Install, pipe and wire petroleum fueling equipment.
  • Program electronic fuel dispensers, monitor equipment and point of sale systems.
  • Analyze electronic and mechanical issues and make correct repairs.
  • Install new equipment following repair, test operation, and adjust as necessary.
  • Examine and listen to equipment, read inspection reports, and confer with customers to locate and diagnose malfunctions.
  • Reassemble equipment following repair, test operation, and adjust as necessary.
  • Test and replace electrical components and wiring.
  • Repair or replace defective parts.
  • Operate company vehicle.
  • Record details of repairs made, and parts used.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Work Environment

    • Based on customer location and work needed.
    • Working in all-weather types.

    Education

    • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.

    Starting Wage

    $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
