SCOPE OF POSITION
The primary responsibility of this high-energy, fast paced role is to oversee, grow and manage a customer portfolio. This position will be largely focused on the acquisition of new customers. This will include the full sales cycle from making cold calls, to qualifying leads, maintaining the CRM, and ultimately following through to acquisition.
POSITION DUTIES
- Responsible for generating sales leads through outbound cold calling to potential clients
- Manages initial steps for potential clients through email communication, scheduling appointments and follow up contact
- Provides sales reporting to regional sales directors on efforts and progress
- Responsible for attaining all agreed upon monthly / quarterly goals
- Maintains and grows the existing customer base
- Role requires 25% travel
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business development, sales, or other relevant field
- College degree in business management, marketing or equivalent education preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiating, and organizational, plus proven sales and marketing skills
- Strong individual who is effective and thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing, and highly dynamic market environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, able to effectively use spreadsheets for management reporting and analysis
- Analytical problem-solving skills, results-oriented
