Vault 44.01 (“Vault”) is a leading carbon capture & storage (“CCS”) developer focused on the development, capitalization, and operation of carbon storage assets throughout North America. Vault’s team brings over 90 years of direct carbon storage experience, with involvement in the development of carbon storage projects across North America since 2007. Vault’s capabilities span technical analysis, project design, permitting, stakeholder engagement, land leasing and acquisition, facility construction, and operations. In collaboration with our industrial partners, we are currently developing CCS projects in the US Midwest, US Southeast, and Canada, focusing on single CO2 source, near-site sequestration projects and including 7 projects currently under contract.
Vault has secured a US$300 million equity capital commitment from Grey Rock Investment Partners (Dallas, TX based private equity company) and has offices in Denver, CO and Calgary, AB.

Travel Required: Potential for travel during field activity.
Description of Role
Collaborate with projects and operations to define procurement requirements and lead procurement activities for drilling, completions, facilities and operations
Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets
Manage competitive bidding processes (RFPs/RFQs), bid evaluations, and contract negotiations
Identify and secure long-lead items, ensuring timely delivery and supply chain reliability
Establish and maintain preferred supplier lists and vendor qualification processes
Negotiate commercial terms and manage contracts to mitigate risk and optimize value
Track procurement budgets, commitments, and cost savings initiatives
Implement procurement policies, systems, and controls appropriate for a growing organization
Monitor supplier performance, delivery, and quality, resolving issues as needed
Ensure compliance with regulatory, HSE, and company standards
Skills and Qualifications
- 10 years of procurement experience in oil & gas, energy, or infrastructure projects
- Direct experience supporting drilling and completions programs and/or facilities construction
- Strong knowledge of oilfield services, equipment supply chains, and contracting models
- Proven experience managing competitive bid processes and negotiating contracts
- Familiarity with long-lead equipment procurement (e.g., compressors, process equipment)
- Ability to operate effectively in a small, fast-paced, and evolving organization
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Post-secondary education in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field

Must be able to legally work in the United States of America
Travel to operating facilities may be required. The role frequently operates in field office environments, often located near industrial facilities.
The role requires on-call availability for incident response and may involve exposure to hazardous environments, requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Annual salary range is $100,000 - $140,000
