Petroleum Construction Technician - SLC, UT

About the role

Eaton Sales & Service is looking for a Construction Technician to join our Salt Lake City team. This is a full-time role with on-the-job training and career growth in the Petroleum Industry.

Responsibilities

• Travel to and from customer job sites
• Install fuel storage tanks and lubrication systems
• Perform construction activities such as:
• Installing fiberglass, steel, poly, and flexible piping
• Moderate concrete removal/replacement
• Hand trenching and digging
• Pipe threading and blueprint reading
• Safe use of hand tools and power tools
• Welding (preferred but not required)
• Operate and maintain equipment and machines
• Follow OSHA safety rules and site-specific safety procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license (must meet company driver policy)
• 18+ years old
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate power tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Punctuality and strong work ethic
• Willingness to work occasional overtime and out-of-town projects
• Must be able to pass a drug test

Preferred

• At least 1 year of construction experience (but we’ll train motivated candidates!)
