Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care plans and experiences to patients and families in their homes, hospitals, or other care settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Engage with patients and families to understand their needs and preferences, and tailor care accordingly.
• Provide compassionate support and companionship to patients and their families during difficult times.
• Volunteer as a Certified Pet Therapy Dog to bring joy and comfort to hospice patients.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Pass a background check, drug and fingerprint screening, and TB test.
• Completion of certification as a pet therapy dog.
• Up-to-date vaccinations for your pet therapy dog.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
• Experience in home health, palliative, or hospice care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
