Bring joy to a hospice patient’s life by visiting with your Certified Pet Therapy Dog!
Our patients and their families warmly welcome you into their lives to spend time and enjoy the company of a canine companion.
We provide volunteer orientation for you and hope you will consider this rewarding opportunity with your pet therapy companion.
Certification as a pet therapy dog must be completed prior to volunteering.
Requirements
- Completed application
- Interview
- Background check
- Drug and fingerprint screening
- TB test
- Pets must be up to date on vaccinations
