Pet Sitter & Dog Walker - Wallingford / Meriden Area

About the role

Sarah’s Pet Sitting is a trusted pet care company in the Wallingford and Meriden areas, established since 2008. We are currently seeking dependable, compassionate individuals for part-time pet sitting and dog walking roles.

Responsibilities

- Visit clients' homes to provide care for dogs, cats, and small pets. - Include dog walking, feeding and fresh water, litter box cleaning, medications, playtime, and companionship. - Provide detailed visit updates for clients. - Most visits are within a short driving radius of your home. - Available during some mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. - Early morning availability is a major plus.

Requirements

- Must be 18+ years old. - Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required. - Smartphone required. - Ability to safely enter and secure client homes. - Comfortable using scheduling and communication apps. - Basic animal experience is helpful but not required.

Pay

Compensation is structured per visit, with many team members earning approximately $18–25+ per hour of active scheduled time depending on route density, availability, tips, and holiday coverage.

Schedule

Flexible part-time schedule suitable for independent, active individuals with daytime flexibility. Early morning availability is a major plus.
