Pet Sitter / Dog Walker M-F: Morning/Afternoons Cranston

About the role

Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC is hiring for an experienced Pet Care Professional to provide pet sitting and dog walking services. The position requires availability between the hours of 7am-3pm Monday through Friday and is local to Providence, Cranston, or Warwick.

Responsibilities

• Visit client's homes to care for their pets while they are at work or on vacation
• Walk, exercise dogs, let them out for bathroom breaks, provide love and attention
• May include feeding, administering medications, providing fresh water, cleaning up after animals, and managing litter boxes
• Leave a note for clients after each visit to inform them of the visit's outcome

Requirements

• Loves dogs and/or cats, enjoys the outdoors, and has experience with various sizes and energy levels of dogs and/or cats and/or other small animals
• Has reliable transportation and owns a smartphone
• Can work independently and has good communication and customer service skills
• Desires a flexible schedule and is looking to make a difference in the lives of others
• Seeking part-time work or supplemental income

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with animals (dogs, cats, etc.)
• Passion for working with and helping animals

Skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Experience with various types of pets

Pay

• $16-$18 per hour depending on experience

Schedule

• Position will start out slow, part-time, and will gradually be booked up
• Available Monday through Friday between 7am-3pm
