Responsibilities
- Utilize unsealed radionuclides and radiation detection equipment to perform quality diagnostic studies and administer therapeutic treatments.
- Perform PET/CT studies under the direction of radiologists and supervision of managers or supervisors.
- Use independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative for accurate diagnosis.
- Identify pathology, perform patient positioning, injections, and IV access.
- Support new protocols and mentor new team members, students, and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records, assist in student education, and ensure proper equipment use and care.
- Ensure patient, family, and staff comfort, safety, and care before, during, and after procedures.
- Respond to emergency situations and radioactive spills, taking appropriate action.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in allied health.
- Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program.
- Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (NMTCB) and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- State License.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- Experience in a related field, including NM registration.

Pay
$20,000 sign-on bonus.
Schedule
Full-time (80 hours biweekly), Day Shift, rotating weekly across designated sites including Good Samaritan Nuclear Medicine, Western Ridge PET, and the Thomas Center PET location.
