About the role
The candidate will be trained in performing radiolabelling routine radiopharmaceuticals, conducting quality control tests, analyzing and quantifying radiolabeled metabolites in plasma samples, and conducting identifications, separations, and quantitations of compounds and radionuclides using various analytical techniques.
Responsibilities
- Radiolabelling routine radiopharmaceuticals.
- Perform quality control tests associated with the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals, including sterility, apyrogenicity, chemical purity, radiochemical purity, radionuclidic purity, and specific activity.
- Perform analysis and quantification of radiolabeled metabolites in plasma samples following the injection of short-lived radiotracers in PET studies.
- Conduct identification, separations, and quantitation of compounds and radionuclides utilizing HPLC, TLC, GC, NMR, UV, IR, and gamma-ray spectroscopy.
Requirements
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
Skills
Knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals, quality control tests, and analytical techniques such as HPLC, TLC, GC, NMR, UV, IR, and gamma-ray spectroscopy.
