Pet Groomer

About the role

We are looking for a part-time with the possibility of becoming a full-time professional groomer at Carriage Animal Hospital in Lombard Illinois. This is a commission-based job and weekends are a must.

Responsibilities

• Provides grooming services for pets in adherence with established policies and procedures to ensure safety and security of pets and clients.
• Maintains strong knowledge of grooming best practices, pricing and marketing strategies.
• Buils strong client relationships.
• Attends meetings as required for training.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of job-specific experience required with ability to independently build client relations, coordinate and deliver grooming services.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work weekends.
• Bring your own grooming accessories including clippers, blades, shears, bows, and bandannas.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of grooming best practices, pricing, and marketing strategies.
• Ability to independently build client relationships and coordinate grooming services.

• The base Comission range for this position is 50-60%.

• Hours Per Week: 16-20
• Working Days: Thursday, Saturday, Sunday
