Pay

Competitive base pay up to $17.50/hr, varying based on experience. Compensation decisions consider training, experience, work location, required travel, and external market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform excellent customer service and stock the pet department
• Assign duties to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for customers
• Perform retail store clerk, agriculture, and pet duties as needed
• Determine work assignments and train new associates
• Attend seminars at Blain Supply Inc. and other outside locations
• Process special orders for customers
• Maintain accurate on-hand balances
• Assist customers and associates with problem-solving
• Support other departments as assigned
• Assist with loss prevention as needed

Requirements

• Great communication skills
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Able to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
• Able to pass a background check
