PET/CT Technologist – Full Time (Sign on Bonus)
We’re seeking a PET/CT Technologist for a permanent role in Reston, VA at an outpatient facility. The PET Technologist will operate Positron Emission Tomography equipment to produce diagnostic images and measure concentrations of radioactive isotopes for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient conditions.
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday with four 10-hour shifts. No weekends.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Registration with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT), or equivalent.
- BLS certification.
- 2 years of PET/Nuclear Medicine experience preferred. New graduates will be considered if able to achieve proficiency within six months.
- PET certification preferred.
- Licensed in the state of Virginia preferred but not required.
- Ability to meet agency or facility requirements for operation of PET/CT equipment and safe handling of radioactive materials.
