About the role
A PET/CT Technologist is responsible for operating Positron Emission Tomography equipment to produce diagnostic images and measure radioactive isotopes for medical diagnosis and treatment. The role involves full-time work, primarily during weekdays, with no weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Operate PET/CT imaging equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure accurate imaging and proper handling of radioactive materials.
- Maintain compliance with licensing and safety requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- Certification from NMTCB, ARRT, or equivalent.
- BLS certification required.
- Preferred: 2+ years of PET/Nuclear Medicine experience and PET certification.
- Virginia state license preferred but not mandatory.
