PET/CT Technologist – Full Time

About the role

A PET/CT Technologist is responsible for operating Positron Emission Tomography equipment to produce diagnostic images and measure radioactive isotopes for medical diagnosis and treatment. The role involves full-time work, primarily during weekdays, with no weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate PET/CT imaging equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure accurate imaging and proper handling of radioactive materials.
• Maintain compliance with licensing and safety requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Certification from NMTCB, ARRT, or equivalent.
• BLS certification required.
• Preferred: 2+ years of PET/Nuclear Medicine experience and PET certification.
• Virginia state license preferred but not mandatory.
