About the role

GE Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Applications Specialist (CAS) to support the GE Healthcare imaging applications team, focusing on the PET modality. The role involves delivering clinical, technical, and operational expertise through excellent adult education and training, enhancing customer experience, and driving revenue through on-site or remote clinical education delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop product, clinical, and software knowledge, skills, and competence within the PET modality.
  • Correlate theoretical knowledge with clinical and product information to provide clinicians with optimal performance from GE Healthcare equipment.
  • Provide pre-sale product clinical evaluations and/or educational sessions to potential customers.
  • Partner with customers to develop and administer clinical training to end-user personnel aligned with sales order agreements (SOAs).
  • Drive realization of revenue through execution of on-site or remote clinical education delivery.
  • Produce comprehensive, consistent, and timely completion of documentation requirements pre and post-training.
  • Maintain customer relationships through proactive touches and communicate product and customer concerns to management, field sales, marketing, customer loyalty leads, and technical support.
  • Work integrally with associated teams to create, manage, coordinate, and deliver training to internal and external partners and customers, including as content developers, trainers, and registrars.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of clinical and technical disciplines, using prior experience and acquired expertise to execute training policies and strategies.
  • Use prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks, using technical skills and analytic thinking to solve problems.
  • May use multiple internal sources to arrive at decisions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of imaging experience with at least 3 years of PET modality experience.
  • ARRT or equivalent specific PET modality certification.
  • Candidate must live or be willing to relocate to the West (California preferred, also including Arizona, Nevada, Utah).
  • Extensive travel (90%+) within the US and Canada (US/CAN) via multiple modes of transportation (car, air travel, train, etc.).
  • Proficient use of software applications like Windows Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to learn specialized industry-specific software and provide digital education and training solutions.
  • Will be required to register with one or more vendor credentialing services by various customer hospitals, requiring proof of immunization for MMR and hepatitis, and drug testing/screening.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

  • 10+ years of clinical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with GE PETCT modality.
  • Strong verbal communication skills to explain complex clinical content easily.
  • Strong and effective teaching and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to sustain in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess stress tolerance.
