Pet Care Attendant - Shreveport, LA

About the role

Towne South Animal Hospital is hiring a Pet Care Attendant. This position is full-time with a schedule of 6:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday - Friday, with an hour lunch, and 4 days a week. The salary is negotiable and based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Walk dogs and provide daily care for boarding pets
• Clean and maintain dog runs, cages, and cat enclosures
• Feed and monitor pets staying in the hospital and kennel
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kennel and clinic areas
• Support the team in ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for all pets

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with animals preferred but not required
