Position Details

Role: Pet Care Attendant
Status: Part-time
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Schedule: Weekend shifts: Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM, lunch break, 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM

What You’ll Do

  • Clean runs and maintain kennel areas to ensure a safe environment
  • Keep kennel and facility areas organized and free of hazards
  • Clean outdoor play areas and equipment
  • Feed, monitor, and provide routine care for animals in our care
  • Observe animal behavior and health conditions and report concerns to management
  • Maintain accurate records and daily logs
  • Support the team in providing excellent care and customer service
  • Help maintain a clean, welcoming facility for pets and their owners

What You’ll Bring

  • Knowledge of routine animal care, including feeding and walking
  • Comfort working with nervous or anxious animals
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A patient, caring, and compassionate personality
  • The ability to follow instructions carefully and consistently
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • The ability to lift up to 40 pounds and meet the physical demands of the position
  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow
  • Previous animal care experience preferred
  • Special consideration for candidates currently enrolled in a veterinary technician program
