Position Details
Role: Pet Care Attendant
Status: Part-time
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Schedule: Weekend shifts: Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM, lunch break, 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM

What You’ll Do
- Clean runs and maintain kennel areas to ensure a safe environment
- Keep kennel and facility areas organized and free of hazards
- Clean outdoor play areas and equipment
- Feed, monitor, and provide routine care for animals in our care
- Observe animal behavior and health conditions and report concerns to management
- Maintain accurate records and daily logs
- Support the team in providing excellent care and customer service
- Help maintain a clean, welcoming facility for pets and their owners
What You’ll Bring
- Knowledge of routine animal care, including feeding and walking
- Comfort working with nervous or anxious animals
- Excellent communication skills
- A patient, caring, and compassionate personality
- The ability to follow instructions carefully and consistently
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- The ability to lift up to 40 pounds and meet the physical demands of the position
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow
- Previous animal care experience preferred
- Special consideration for candidates currently enrolled in a veterinary technician program
