Killewald Small Animal Hospital is a well-established three-doctor practice that values outstanding patient care, exceptional client service, and work-life balance. We’re looking for a compassionate Pet Care Assistant to join our close-knit team.

About the role

A full-time position where you’ll provide daily care for hospitalized and boarding patients in a supportive, collaborative environment that celebrates each team member’s unique strengths.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care and comfort for hospitalized and boarding patients.
• Feed, walk, and monitor pets while maintaining their safety and well-being.
• Clean and sanitize kennels, treatment areas, exam rooms, and hospital equipment.
• Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient restraint and routine procedures.
• Prepare patient-care areas and keep supplies clean, stocked, and organized.
• Support the medical team with daily hospital operations.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment for patients, clients, and teammates.
• Work collaboratively to help the hospital operate efficiently each day.

Pay

$16.00–$17.00 per hour

Schedule

• Three 7:00 AM–6:00 PM shifts and one 7:00 AM–1:00 PM or 12:00 PM–6:00 PM shift each week.
• Rotating Saturdays.
• Four-day work week with predictable scheduling and regular lunch breaks.
