Pest & Wildlife Technician
What do our Pest & Wildlife Technicians do?
Our Wildlife Specialists visit customers and provide a full range of services to address their pest control needs and challenges. They strive to protect people and enhance lives by maintaining a pest-free environment where our clients live and work by solving complex pest issues using their knowledge and training.
This involves conferring with customers and thoroughly assessing their needs to ensure that they receive the highest possible value and maximum satisfaction with our services. Performs exclusion services and animal removal for residential and commercial customers which includes inspections, trapping, baiting, light carpentry work, working at roof-top levels, crawl space vapor barrier installation, crawl space insulation removal & installation, crawl space debris removal, and crawl space and attic disinfections.
Inspects properties for wildlife and rodent damage and makes recommendations on solutions to remedy the problem. Builds internal and external relationships. Operates and maintains service vehicle and equipment.
What do you need?
- A high school diploma or GED
- Six months related construction experience
- Ability to set live traps
- Previous ladder and/or harness work experience
- A good understanding of different construction types
- At least two years of customer service experience
- A strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- An organized and punctual nature
- The ability to lead others
- The ability to pull a 7x14 enclosed trailer
- Availability to work Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed
- The ability to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations
- A valid driver’s license from the state of residence
