Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to effectively eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards
• Provide educational services to customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment
• Offer advice on how to reduce the risk of future infestations
• Schedule and confirm appointments with customers, help with sales to current customers, and expand our product to new customers
• Maintain all pest control equipment in proper condition
• Operate a company provided service vehicle safely

Essential Job Functions

• Work in tight, confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
• Work around animals, insects, and termites
• Work around mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights and scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals
• Move around frequently, regularly sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator

Qualifications

• Clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers have to be able to seal your face)
• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)
• Available to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed
• Open to learning and becoming knowledgeable in all areas of pest control
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills — You’ll need to be able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels
• Customer-facing experience preferred
