Pest Control Technician- Sign on Bonus for Licensed IDPH Tech

Sign-on Bonus: $1,000 for Licensed IDPH Technicians after 90 days of employment.
About the Role
As a Pest Control Service Technician, you will provide pest remediation and prevention solutions to residential and commercial structures. A company vehicle is provided, and you will serve customers in the Chicago/Wilmette and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Operate and manage a pest control route on a daily basis.
- Apply pesticides according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions.
- Follow a daily schedule to ensure timely arrival at customer locations.
- Discuss service scope with customers and recommend solutions.
- Assist in sales and provide estimates for one-time or ongoing treatments.
- Utilize in-house training to determine the most effective pest solutions.
- Deliver high-quality pest control and eradication services.
- Complete all scheduled appointments on time in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for customers, tailoring solutions to their needs.
- Use safety equipment as instructed and maintain professional appearance and equipment (vehicle, uniform, PPE, etc.).
- Devote full attention to job duties during working hours.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal, written, and in-person communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and presentation skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as kneeling and bending.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Pest control experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, use an iPad (provided), and write simple correspondence.

Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays.
Pay
Base hourly wage plus commissions.
