Pest Control Technician (Sign-On Bonus)

About the role

Pointe Pest is part of PestCo’s family of companies, founded in late 2021 and one of the 12 largest pest control companies in the US, offering single-family residential, multi-family residential and commercial pest control services across key markets. Locations include Albany, Newport, Siletz, and Eugene, OR 97322.

Responsibilities

• Good communication skills and investigating skills.
• Crawling crawlspaces, inspecting, and setting traps.
• Some knowledge of construction or experience.
• Use of power tools & cutting tools.
• Building crawlspace access doors and crawlspace vents.
• Recommending and providing estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.
• Completing all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with company policies and local rules and regulations.
• Serving as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs.
• Using all safety equipment as instructed.
• Maintaining professional appearance and equipment in working order including vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature.
• Devoting full attention and time during working hours to the performance of duties and responsibilities as directed by supervisor and the company.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to kneel and bend as necessary for the job.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pest control experience or pest control license (preferred but not required).

• Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Self‑motivated and results driven.
