Pest Control Technician (Sign-On Bonus)

About the role

Pointe Pest Control is seeking a Pest Control Service Technician to join their team in Pasco, WA 99301. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.
• Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with all applicable Company policies and local rules and regulations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs.
• Use all safety equipment as instructed.
• Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order including but not limited to vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature etc.
• Devote your full attention and time, during working hours, to the performance of your duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor and the Company.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong Communication skills effectively through verbal, written and in person.
• Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and be able to kneel and bend as necessary for a job.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Self-motivated and results driven.
• Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Pest Control experience or Pest Control License (Preferred but not required).

Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring kneeling and bending.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.

• Pest Control experience or Pest Control License (preferred but not required).

Pay

The starting pay range for this position is $15.00-$20.00 per hour. The exact salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, some as needed Saturdays. Exact schedule will be determined based on business needs.

Sign On Bonus

To qualify for the sign-on bonus, candidates must hold an active pest control license. $750 will be paid after 30 days of employment, and another $750 will be paid after 60 days of employment.
