Pest Control Technician - Commercial
About the Role
Stark Exterminators is hiring a full-time Commercial Pest Control Technician to provide uncompromised service to commercial customers using an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach. This role involves protecting facilities and products from infestation through thorough inspections, treatment, and prevention methods.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to assess pest problems and identify insects, rodents, harborage areas, and conducive conditions.
- Apply expertise and problem-solving skills to treat and prevent pests.
- Inspect and maintain bait boxes, traps, and monitor boards.
- Devise and describe personalized solutions to customers.
- Maintain equipment and company vehicle in proper operating condition.
- Work a flexible schedule, including outside normal working hours, to meet customer service requirements.
Qualifications
- Ability to pass and maintain state regulatory agency-required licensing/certification exams.
- Able to pass internal technical exams.
- Possess a current Driver's License.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Present a professional appearance, including wearing an approved company uniform.
- Able to work a minimum 40-hour workweek.
