Pest Control Technician

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Pest Control Technicians to support our residential and commercial property portfolio.

This is a 1099 contractor role offering flexible, appointment-based scheduling. Work is assigned based on service calls, preventative treatments, and property needs, allowing you to accept jobs that fit your availability.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties for pest activity and identify infestation types
• Perform pest control treatments (interior and exterior)
• Apply preventative treatments to maintain pest-free environments
• Follow all safety regulations and proper chemical handling procedures
• Provide recommendations for pest prevention and maintenance
• Communicate job status, findings, and completion updates

Requirements

• Valid Pest Control license (State of Florida – FDACS certification required)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Proven experience in residential and/or commercial pest control services
• Knowledge of pest identification, treatment methods, and prevention strategies
• Able to safely handle and apply chemicals in compliance with regulations
• Must have your own equipment and basic treatment supplies
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
