Pest Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge learned and retained through training to help residential and commercial customers with their pest control issues.
• Inspect attics, crawlspaces, and the interiors and exteriors of homes or businesses in our area.
• Identify and recognize opportunities to sell additional services or equipment.
• Recommend treatment and prevention methods for pest problems to clients.
• Consult with sales reps and leaders to provide estimates for maintenance service requirements or costs.

Requirements

• No Experience Required – we’ll train you!
• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• A valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments, and interact with our great customers inside their businesses and/or homes.

• Preferred Qualifications: Physical Demands / Working Environment: Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:
• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
• Safely carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator.
• Willing to work in different types of weather conditions.
